| An
accident. Car rolls. Broken bones and flashing
lights. Hope. Misery. Paul Sheldon, famous
author of the "Misery Chastain"
books, awakes following a car accident in
a bed he doesn't recognise. Annie Wilkes,
who lives alone in the hill, was on hand
to rescue him fom the wreckage and tend
to his wounds. All that she asks in return
is that he saves the life of one of his
fictional characters. She can be very persuasive...
Written by Stephen King in 1987 and turned
into a film with James Caan and Kathy Bates
in 1990, Misery is one of the greatest thrillers
in any medium. Andrew Schofield (Brick Up,
Lost Soul, Good Golly Miss Molly) is back
in the Court in the Paul Sheldon role. Join
him for a thrilling evening of theatre that
will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout
the night. Suitable
for 16 year olds and above. Some bad language
used! Stalls tickets are available with
a meal (served at your table before the
show) for an extra £10. Click
here to see the menu. If you are eating
with us please arrive at least an hour before
the performance. Tickets are available for
the show alone in stalls, circle and balcony.
There is a 2pm matinee every Saturday.

| Friday
18th July to Saturday 16th August 2008 - 8pm |
| A
unique theatre experience for 2008 as the
Royal Court is turned into a farmer's field
for the only outdoor festival to take place
indoors! Jim Cartwright, author of Two and
Little Voice, has created a play set which
will take you back to the 1960s - a time
of free love, peace and happiness. DJs,
bands, hippies and bikers mix with housewives
and the landed gentry in a play that becomes
a party that everyone is invited to. A mix
of live music and sharp gags in a mind-expanding
setting, this show will be talked about
for years to come! Be a part of it! Come
on down, get down, get high, get a ticket...
man. Suitable

Soul is a brutally funny comedy about getting

couples have grown up but have they also grown
apart? Strong friendships and strong relationships

of 70s soul music and audience belly laughs.

| Comedy
favourite returns with a blisteringly funny
new one man show about marriage, class, the
youth of today and anything else that strikes
him as humorous. It hard to say any more than
that as this blurb had to be written in April
when the new show was barely taking shape.
He might end up doing an hour about going
to the Opera for all I know. Oh, no he's done
that. (back
