JIMMY
CARR: REPEAT OFFENDER |
|
| Friday
6th June 2008 - Saturday 7th June 2008 7.30pm |

Carr is one of the biggest faces in comedy.
Literally - he’s got one of the biggest
faces. Not suitable for the easily offended.
In fact not even a show for people that
are quite difficult to offend. Essentially
this is a show for people without a moral
compass. (back

PENTANGLE |
|
| Monday
14th July 2008 - 8pm |
| Exactly
40 years to the day that unique British
folk/jazz 'supergroup' Pentangle recorded
the live disc of their seminal double album,
Sweet Child, the original band: Bert Jansch,
John Renbourn, Jacqui McShee, Danny Thompson
and Terry Cox, reform for this UK tour.
Formed in swinging 60s London, Pentangle
were one of the most exciting and innovative
groups in the world, genuinely pushing boundaries
and exploring new musical avenues. Simultaneously
stars of the underground and darlings of
the mainstream, they enjoyed an unprecedented
degree of worldwide success for an acoustic
band and their influence and musical impact
is still revered and relevant today. (back
