| Who are we and how did our website start? | | |
 | LiverpoolTheatreGuide.co.uk - the definitive guide to what's on at the theatre in Liverpool, England - is the brainchild of the people who brought you ManchesterTheatres.com, the website which covers all theatres in Manchester. The Liverpool Theatre Guide was created in September 2006.Noticing that there wasn't many other sites on the Internet that listed every theatre in Liverpool, we set about providing a guide to what's on and where to stay nearby. | | Not only can you see which productions, shows and gigs are coming to Liverpool, but you can also buy tickets online and even book your hotel near the venue itself. We provide information about each of the theatres; how to get there, where to park and seating plans too. You can even sign up to our Manchester mailing list for regular updates and latest news about upcoming productions in Manchester, but we include Liverpool's highlights on there too (click here to sign up). We plan to add a separate mailing list of Liverpool theatre goers, further down the line.LiverpoolTheatreGuide.com does not just concentrate on the large theatres in the city either, we created the 'other venues' page which covers all theatres and theatre groups in the local area. If you are a smaller theatre or a theatre group and want us to list you, contact us and tell us all about yourself and any website information. Our ManchesterTheatres.com has been a huge success and is sitting nicely at the top of most search engines. We feel that many Liverpool locals will benefit from both the Liverpool and Manchester theatre sites are both cities are fairly close to each other and many big name acts and productions grace both cities throughout the year. Our vision is to keep adding more city theatre guides. We added our Birmingham Theatre Guide (www.birminghamtheatreguide.com) in November 2006 and our Oxford Theatre Guide (www.oxfordtheatres.com) was added in June 2007. We are currently adding more city theatre guides with Bristol, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Newcastle and Cambridge all lined up. |
| | | How do you get listed or advertise with us? | | |
 | Although we are a business, we are not in this for the money and trying to make money out of people. We do not charge big fees. Drop of us a line and tell us how we can benefit you. What can we do to promote your theatre and shows? We can add you to our 'other venues' page, adding your theatre details - your theatre logo, your postal address, website address, email address, telephone numbers, book tickets online details, how to get to your theatre, etc... | | We can also offer you the opportunity to have your current and future productions added to our theatre calendar which is visited by many of our online customers. Our Manchester mailing list currently has over 3,000 people on it and we inform them regularly of new shows. We can also inform our customers about your currently productions and shows. In return, we would want our website promoted on your website, ideally, not just on your links page, but somewhere on your site where we'll be seen. We have many banners for you to choose from too. Go to our linking page to see the banners we offer. If you'd prefer a different banner advertising our sites, we can make one for you to add to your site. Other ways you could promote our site would be to add us in your theatre programmes and basically 'word of mouth', telling friends to log on to www.liverpooltheatreguide.co.uk |
| We receive many phone calls from people thinking we are the empire theatre, royal court, philharmonic, etc... On that page, you'll see towards the top next to a rotating photo - the postal address of the theatre, a map of where they are, contact details and a page on access/disabled information. Please Note: LiverpoolTheatreGuide.co.uk is an independent website and is not affiliated in any way to the theatres featured*.*= this is NOT the contact form for The Empire Theatre, Royal Court Theatre, Philharmonic Hall, Everyman Playhouse, Unity Theatre or Southport Theatre.
